Drew celebrated her 8th birthday with a party at Tea Party Castle. These pictures and words will not even do justice to the amazing experience that this was...and I'm talking about my experience! Me, the tried and true tomboy was lost in a world of pink princesses and actually didn't want to find my way out!
This place is worth every hard earned cent that her dad had to pay, and then some. The 8 girls arrived and were treated like royalty from the moment they stepped foot inside. They each picked out their own dress, had their hair done and were showered in magic glittery fairy dust! Then they were wisked off to the princess tea room that seemed straight out of a fairytale book. There Drew's own Princess and maiden waited on her and entertained her and her guests for a full 2 hours of sheer delight. Songs, dancing, tea and cookies, ice-cream sundaes, & fashion shows. But they saved the best for last when they brought in Drew's Prince Charming (daddy) dressed in a cape & crown who twirled her around to a song. Tears were flowing, let me tell you.
Wow, it was something else.
Wow, it was something else.
I am posting a couple pics and a video of the Princess doing one of her many entertaining songs.
If you want to see the Prince Charming dance you will have to check out Drew's blog. She will have it up soon.
The video is kind of dark but hopefully it'll still come across ok. That is actually the lady singing too. She was really good!
WOW Sonya, you posted that pretty fast. I was only kidding at dinner when I made that comment. GREAT job getting the video out there too. What a cool place... I don't think we had places like that when we were younger?!
